2023-24 VEX IQ Season: Full Volume

Full Volume

VEX IQ Robotics Competition Full Volume is played on a 6’ x 8’ rectangular field configured as seen below. Two robots compete in the Teamwork Challenge as an alliance in 60 second long teamwork matches, working collaboratively to score points. Teams also compete in the Robot Skills Challenge where one robot takes the field to score as many points as possible. These matches consist of Driving Skills Matches, which will be entirely driver controlled, and Autonomous Coding Skills Matches, which will be autonomous with limited human interaction.

Hawaii Regional Championships

The Hawaii Regional Championship for VEX Robotics is an exciting event that showcases the best and brightest student robotics teams from across the state. Teams qualify for this championship by competing in local tournaments and winning a qualifying award, such as the excellence, design, or team work champion. Additionally, teams could qualify through their individual skills score rankings, with only the top-ranking teams from across the state being invited to participate. This event is a high-stakes competition, with winning teams moving on to the next level of competition, the VEX Worlds, which will take place in Dallas, Texas. The Hawaii Regional Championship offers students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in the field of robotics and to gain valuable experience working in a team-oriented, competitive environment.
